Manufacturing Month is a celebration of modern manufacturing meant to inspire the next generation of manufacturers. It addresses common misperceptions about manufacturing by giving manufacturers an opportunity to open their doors and show what manufacturing is — and what it isn’t. To match up with Manufacturing Day, which takes place on October 5th this year, the state of Ohio celebrates Manufacturing Month the entire month of October.

When working with a recruiter, it never pays to "sugarcoat" or beat around the bush. The more straightforward you are, the better a recruiter can help you and the more satisfied you will be in the end. A recruiter is trained to get you what you want - so try your best to not confuse him or her!
Manufacturers have started to manage talent the same way they manage raw materials or shipping. They want it when they want it, mimicking the just-in-time manufacturing principle that's based on meeting demand as it happens.
